Maintenance

  • After long-term storage, check the battery voltage. If it is below 3.5 V, follow the recovery procedure; otherwise, charge the battery through USB Type-C.
  • Do not remove the battery unless necessary. After disconnecting it, check the device time.
  • Periodically inspect the enclosure for condensation, insects, and contamination.
  • Check the microSD card if you need local archives and service logs.
  • Update the firmware only through a controlled procedure: Updating the Device.

Charging

The device does not support fast charging, including USB Power Delivery (PD). For charging, use a standard power source with a USB Type-A port and a USB Type-A–USB Type-C cable rather than a USB Type-C–USB Type-C cable.

Core measurements and data transmission can work without a microSD card, but the archive and logs on the card will then be unavailable.
